Curriculum
Classes encompass a variety of delivery methods including structured written and spoken activities, online activities, arts and drama, musical expression, and participation in community activities.
Children are encouraged to communicate regularly in Greek to their elders, family members, and friends, including those living abroad in Greece to further their understanding of the language and culture.
Kindergarten
Kindergarten level focuses on introducing the letters of the alphabet, how to form letters into words, recognize everyday objects, and master pronunciation.
Core Student & Activity Books are supplemented with an online learning platform for further practice at home or at yiayia and pappou's house.
Year 1 & 2
Years 1 & 2 build on the foundations made in the Kindergarten year with the focus on the combination of vowels and consonants, present tense, plurals, adjectives and their three genders, auxiliary verbs , and mastering short sentences and phrases.
Core Student & Activity Books are supplemented with an online learning platform for further practice at home or on holidays in Greece enjoying one of the many beautiful paralías.
Year 3 to 5
Years 3 to 5 focus on skills to master longer sentences for reading comprehension and engaging in short to medium dialogue.
Core Student & Activity Books are supplemented with an online learning platform for further practice so you can wow your mama and baba with your stronger Greek voice.
Year 6 & Beyond
Years 6 & beyond is your time to shine and show us what you got! Students cover comprehensive grammar, read longer sentences, and enjoy reading books printed exclusively in Greek. Students also are beginning their transition into adult levels and hold longer and more meaningful conversations in Greek.
Core Student & Activity Books are supplemented with an online learning platform for further practice and we encourage all our Year 6 and beyond students to continue into adult classes.
